2. Duty of Loyalty: Ensuring that the nonprofit's activities and transactions are, first and foremost, advancing its mission; Recognize and disclose conflicts of interest; Make decisions that are in the best interest of the nonprofit corporation.
3. Duty of Obedience: Ensure that the nonprofit obeys applicable laws and regulations; follows its own bylaws; and that the nonprofit adheres to its stated corporate purposes/mission.
Our Board members also play very significant roles providing guidance to the nonprofit by contributing to the organization’s culture, strategic focus, effectiveness, and financial sustainability, as well as serving as ambassadors and advocates.
All of the board members have experience with running a business, are vested in their communities, and have a strong focus to care for our military veterans and first responders through the services that the nonprofit provides.
Bobby is a Co-Founder of Forging Forward.
He currently serves as the Vice President. He is constantly on the move, helping people across the world in so many different ways. He is our inspiration!
Living in Kentucky, Bobby travels the world touching people of all ages with his personal story and comedy.
Jamie is a Co-Founder of Forging Forward.
She has more than 35 years of experience working with non-profits. She was the CEO of a behavioral health organization in KY. She is the President of Forging Forward, and is invested with helping active duty and veteran military and law enforcement and their families, and Gold Star Families. Suici
Jamie is a Co-Founder of Forging Forward.
She has more than 35 years of experience working with non-profits. She was the CEO of a behavioral health organization in KY. She is the President of Forging Forward, and is invested with helping active duty and veteran military and law enforcement and their families, and Gold Star Families. Suicide prevention, socialization, and connectivity is her mission.
Her son, Brian, served in Operation Enduring Freedom with the KY National Guard.

Shawn is the Treasurer of Forging Forward. She worked for a non-profit in KY for more than 21 years, retired and now works for the PVA Office in Greensburg, KY. She lives in Greensburg along with her husband, daughter, and three grandchildren. Shawn has family members who served in the military and is invested in suicide prevention.
Annie is the widow of a retired military veteran. She is Forging Forward's Secretary. Annie is a former flight nurse and lives in Tennessee. She is personally touched by suicide, and she is invested in suicide prevention.
Kevin is a United States Army Veteran and father of six children, with a beautiful wife of 30 years. He is known to many as Brotherhood, passionate about our Military, First Responders, and Combat Veterans. In his time off, Kevin volunteers with organizations that pay it forward, including building cars, raising funds, suicide awareness and support.
Kelly is an Air Force, Combat Veteran with a vast medical background. After serving on active duty, she served 23 years in various roles with the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Upon leaving the VA, She founded “Veteran’s Advocate,” a Veteran and Military Consulting Service, which focuses on assisting Veterans, Active Duty and their family members in receiving the benefits they so deserve.
Kelly is also the Vice President of the non profit, “Project Iniative,” a counter-trafficking organization where she wrote the age appropriate curriculum for the “R.Y.A.T” (Raising Youth Against Trafficking) Program. The program focuses on educating our children, on the dangers of social media and how to stay safe from every day, online predators.
You may still find Kelly at local and professional events supporting her Parachute Team, the All Veteran Group.
Kelly is very passionate about our Military, First Responders, and Combat Veterans. She is always volunteering with organizations all over the country that pay it forward.
Like most, as a combat veteran, having had many friends lose their battle within, Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention plays a major role in her everyday life. She enjoys traveling with Forging Forward / The Bobby Henline Foundation.
When Kelly isn’t giving back, she is traveling to spend time with her 3 sons; two of which are serving on active duty today, in our US Military.
